Very powerful and rewarding app to use!
Ive tried far too many other apps. 2Do outdoes them all. I sync with iOS reminders which lets me continue to use shared lists with my wife, but also expands on what is possible reminders - attach a sketch or photo to a reminder, or record voice clips for project ideas/dictation, add actions like urls needed for a task, and fine tune start, end, and repetition of tasks all synced across all my devices. 2Do lets me segregate work and personal 2Do list into separate groups, not to mention delving down into individual lists, projects and checklists, so I can easily use it on my work laptop and my home desktop with each only focusing on work or personal tasks. In my last review I also mentioned how they frequently update the app and keep it compatible with the latest iOS advances...and heres another one. I havent tried the new email to 2do yet, but pausing tagged tasks sounds incredible. The only difficult thing I ran into was trying to export my data from Wunderlist
Great app for all levels of users. Very simple to get started but has many advanced features! Definitely well worth the money and the 5 star rating!
This is my go-to app for checklists. Id recommend it to anyone who wants to become productive. The number of features it offers make it confusing in the beginning, but once you get used to it, its really great.
Ive tried Todoist, OmniFocus and lots of others...this app does it all and just looks fantastic. Its a bit of information overload at first but once you get the hang of it its super flexible and quick!
Love this app. I use it every day for work to keep on track with various tasks, deadlines, etc. It is an efficient way to manage the work of my team as well as projects that have many different elements. I love the sorting and dates on the app. They help me always stay on track and the notes section ensures that none of the historical information is lost. I am just beginning to grasp all the different ways that I can use this app to keep me on track!
Great product. Not perfect, but best one I found and I tried them all.
Love the iOS 8 Widget! Thanks for allowing us to edit which list we want! This truly is the best productivity tool. Why isnt it higher on the productivity category? Things, Omnifocus, Clear and all other task manager apps are garbage compared to this. I wasted so much money buying them! Old users need to get used to change, and take this app for a spin for a few days to really understand it! Ive been a loyal 2Do user since v1.0 and this update is phenomenal! The UI is modern and they have added so many things that have made this even better than before. Its still the same 2Do we loved, but prettier and more feature rich. Keep up the amazing work guys!
This is probably the second or third review Ive bothered to write but this is a KILLER app. Ive always loved the simplicity of Things but never updated after they removed wifi sync as I dont want my stuff on other companies servers. That was a LONG time ago and Ive not seen anything that I would prefer. Then I found 2do. This thing has it all. Its so customisable that it will fit pretty much any need. The CalDAV sync sealed the deal though. This means I can have my own CalDAV server running (I installed Baikal) and get "cloud" sync working. I would never use any app for personal and private information without the ability to host it myself. No other app comes close to this in terms of sheer power and flexibility. The thing that made me want to write this was something that hints at the kind of thought this developer has given to every detail. Unlike most apps that seem to be unable to ask for a review at the right time and not in an annoying way, the prompt to leave a review for this never even showed up until maybe a week after using it. I had cleared my to dos for the day and there in the empty space was a very subtle link to leave a review. No pop up message at all. Thank you, this app is amazing!
I have used this app for a number of years now, and it has consistently performed well. Syncs with Dropbox, and notifies me as I need it. My go-to list/reminder app.
I mean that. This app is amazing.
Great and finally settled to do app hunting
I use this app every day for both Work and Personal projects and tasks. The custom smart lists allow you to view your work load from ANY angle that you could possibly imagine. If you are looking for a task/project management app that can be fully customized to match the way you work, this is the app! Highly, HIGHLY recommended.
Ive tried many to do apps and by far this is my favorite. All I wish for is a collaboration feature and better iCal integration.
Ive used them all. Things. Wunderlust. Todoist. OmniFocus. Its not perfect, but getting there. Things Id like to see: series lists/next actions. Tag shortcuts. Notification snooze.
Update feb 23,2016 This app is still not working, crashed 2 days ago and after trying all of the steps recommended it will not even load. I am running an iPhone 5 latest iOS and have more than 6 gigs of memory available. Vendor has not responded to my report on feb 21st ticket number - Ticket#2016021810000183]. This is very poor service. The app is great when it works, but right now it is terrible. This is a great app, but the last update runs very slowly and also crashes often. As of February 15, the App will not launch at all. According to the support groups there are thousands or hundreds of thousands of people that are having the same problem. Apple and 2DO need to fix this ASAP. This went from a great App to a terrible App in one day
I have tried many to do apps and this one outshines them all! The interface is colourful and tasteful. The options are many. The to do system can be as simple or as complex as you wish.
This is a great app. I rely on it daily and it doesnt let me down. Ever. I like that the developer is continuously working to refine and improve the app. Good job! Thank you.
Very powerful app packed with tons of features. It can be as simple or as complex as you want to make it. You just want a todo list for errands, it can do that. You want to manage many complex projects, it can do that also and very well a that. After using it for almost a month now, I can say Im quite happy with it. Keep up the good work!
Bounced back and forth between the two aforementioned apps for 9 years, never truly feeling satisfied between the two experiences. Recently discovered 2Do and finally feel like I have the app that I always needed. For power users that need to graduate from the simplicity of Things and the rigidity of OmniFocus, 2Do is that app that allows enough customization and yet still hold a strong core experience that you can easily set the app up to YOUR task-management systems, rather than requiring you to use the APPs system. By far, the app that is open the most in my iPhone, iPad, and my Mac. Essential to my work as a Vice-Principal.
